This place only sells one thing. Ramen.
This is like the Japanese In-N-Out.
They know what's the best and keep it that way.
No more than 15 items on the menu. You can get appetizers or rice bowls on the side.
But as far as the ramen goes, there's only 4 types of broth to choose from. And you can add-on any additional toppings like hard boiled eggs, corn, seaweed, roast pork, kimchi, green onions...etc. for additional charges ranges from 0.50-2.50.

There's not many seats in there, maybe about 5 small tables and some bar seat where you can see the chef cooking your ramen in front of your eyes. I would suggest come here as 2-4 people, no more. We were lucky and got a seat immediately when we went on a Friday night. But I heard this place can get pretty busy with a line out the door due to it's small capacity.

Here is what we got:
A bunch of seasonings on the table for you to add in.

View of the kitchen from our seat.

Small  Fried Rice $3.95

Small Pork Belly Rice Bowl $3.95

Tonkotsu-Shoyu Ramen - the pork was melt-in-your-mouth, so delicious!

Our one-year Anniversary Trip to Orlando

We decided as a couple that we will not buy gifts for each other for our anniversary, just take a trip somewhere together. And this year, we decided to go to Orlando, Florida. We went to DisneyWorld Orlando a year after we begin dating, we had a blast. So we wanted to go to Orlando and also check out the new Universal Harry Potter theme park this time.

We were lucky, it just happens to be two special events going on at the same time, Epcot's International Food & Wine Festival and Mickey's Merry Christmas Party. This was so much fun, we loved Epcot last time because you get to drink and eat around the "world" with 10 or so countries. But with the Food & Wine Festival, this is like twice more countries! You get to sample tapas-sized dishes from each country and also their alcohol. We definitely did not expect that and spent way too much money than expected.

I tried to take a picture and the menu board from each country as we go. But you know after my 5th cup of alcohol, I don't even remember if I missed any? There were definitely countries that we skipped like China, when I can make a better Chinese food. LOL

Also they had events like cooking lessons and special bands performing duding this festival. We only had one day at Disney, so we did not get to go see everything that we wanted. But it was so fun! Definitely check it out if you ever have the chance to during that time!

Ahi Poke with Seaweed Salad and Kuala Pork Slider

Scandinavian Swedish Meat Balls

Korean Rice Wine and Buglulgi with Kimchee

I believe this was South African. Sweet Potato Puree and Steak with some kind of sauce that tasted like curry.

German beer sampler!

Poland -  Pierogi (filled with potatoes) with Polish sausage and sauerkraut and sour cream.

Belgium Beer Sampler!

France - Escargot (snails!)

England - Fish and Chips with Malt Vinegar of course!

Lastly, I will end my blog with awesome pictures of the lighted castle from the Mickey's Merry Christmas Party!

Many of you remember the movie "Forrest Gump". He had a good friend in the movie named Bubba and he bought a shrimping boat to honor his friend.  Hence the name of this restaurant, Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. They have several locations in the U.S., we visited the one in Orlando, FL inside Universal Studios.

The restaurant is Forrest Gump themed, and has a gift shop that sells movie merchandise. As we were eating they were showing the movie Forrest Gump on the TVs. Their menu is majority seafood but you can get sandwiches and burgers as well as shrimp and fish.

We ordered Seafood Hush Pups as appetizer, and entrees were Lt. Dan's Drunken Shrimp &
Accidental Fish & Shrimp. It was not cheap but you get a decent amount of seafood, and the flavor and sauces were really good, and the seafood were fresh. It was a good meal. I would definately go back and eat there again.

If you do not assistance, turn the sign to "Run Forrest Run"

If you need waiter/ waitress' attention, flip the sign over to "Stop Forrest Stop"

Cute drink menu on a ping pong paddle
Sweet Tea Chiller - yum

Seafood Hush Pups - Shrimp and Fish with golden corn, deep fried and server with a Remoulade Dipping Sauce $9.29

Lt. Dan's Drunken Shrimp - Large chargrilled  Shrimp with Andouille Sausage with Mashed Potatoes and Burbon Sauce $17.29

Accidental Fish & Shrimp - Broiled Mahi Mahi over a bed of rice topped with grilled Shrimp, a Lemon Butter Sauce and Roma Tomatoes $19.99
