We stumbled across this new restaurant called English's Quintessentially British in Town Square Las Vegas after catching the movie "The Three Musketeers".  They have afternoon teas and we were just in time for their Happy Hour. They have a pretty good Happy Hour menu, good deals on drinks and food.  But it's still just a trendy restaurant in Town Square. Where everything is over priced and hip. Next time I will have to go try their afternoon tea, but as far as the food, it was bland and not much flavor. If you want good British/Irish food, I would suggest McMullen's Irish Pub, their food is amazing. This restaurant is more good for people watching while grabbing a happy hour drink.

ROTM: The Palm Resturant inside Caesar's Palace

Category: Steakhouses  [Edit]
Caesars Palace - The Forum Shops

Las Vegas, NV 89109
Neighborhood: The Strip

My friends surprised me by taking me to one of the steakhouses in town for my late birthday dinner.
They are running a special right now because it's their 85 year anniversary. You get 2 lobster tails, one 18 oz steak, 2 full sides, 2 full appetizers for two people for $85. We had 4 people so we ordered 2 set of the surf & turf special. It was a lot of food, you will see in the pictures below, we barely touched our sides and main dish and took the rest of it home.

You can also get lobsters by the pound here. The table next to us had a huge whole lobster.
Tender, succulent, premium lobsters from Nova Scotia. Available in 3, 4, 5, and 6 pounds.

It's a great deal! Go check it out if you have a Palm near you with their 20 locations in US.

September Birchbox

September was Birchbox's anniversary so everyone was anticipating a really nice box for this month. I got mine early around the 12th in September and here is what I got.

I was disappointed with this September box, nothing in there I really would use. Maybe the nail polish sticker, but it's not a color I would normally wear.  So I cancelled my Birchbox. I tried it for 6 months, and there were definitely hit and misses. I just want to give it a little break and maybe I will go back to it later. Haven't decided yet. For now, I'm saving my $10 a month.

But I also wanted to tell you about some other programs like the Birchbox if you ever want to try it out.  Christmas is just around the corner!

There's a new one out for men, that's called His Black Box. It's $12 a month and you can do gift subscriptions for your guy. I beleive they have a monthly or yearly plan as well.
